I downloaded this off the marketplace today. It was shit. It didn't follow the original storyline from the comics at all. Doomsday was in it for about 10 minutes and the rest of it could have put me to sleep. Oh, and they completely left out the JLA.

Yes, but the comic it's based off of came out when I was a kid.

My dad actually has the comic. It's in a black rapper (unopened) and it has the Superman logo with blood dripping on it.

I think that all depends on what edition he has. Mine is like 4th edition so it probably won't be worth shit, but I'm keeping it wrapped anyways.

For the record, It sells for about 2$ unopened. Same with the rebirth issue.

The problem is that they brought Superman back to life. If they had left him dead, it would have been worth a lot more than 2 bucks.

There are two things for sure in life.

1) Taxes will always have to be paid.

2) Superhero's never die.


And as for the reason of it's "lack" of substantial value, it was VERY mass produced.

avoid it,

I was gonna rent this too...now, thanks to you I won't. I loved that comic, had I still been into them I would prolly still have it...tragic that they went and screwed this up...at least I won't be waisting my money...can now be put to renting Transformers...
