Head 2 Head Gamerscore League—Season 4
Official Rules
--First, I would like to invite any gamer to join the league. There are only four requirements to join the league. First, you must be a member of www.consoleheroes.com. Second, you must have a blog on www.360voice.com. Third, there must no type of cheating ever done on your gamertag(profile swapping, profile glitching, or gamesaving). Fourth, your gamerscore to start the league must be over 20k.
--For this season, we are looking for 12 teams. These 12 teams will be divided into 3 divisions of 4 teams. Each team will play the other three teams in their division twice and each team from the other 2 divisions once. This will give each team 14 matches. There will be 2 matches each with, so the season will be 7 weeks. Each team will consist of 5 gamers. But, for this season, only 4 gamers will score for their team each week. The team captain, will private message their weekly line up to Tripl299 at console heroes. This line up must be sent by 12 noon on Wednesday of the week. Each member of the league must play at least 3 weeks during the season. If a team’s weekly line up isn’t received by 12 noon on Wednesday, a team’s line up will be the same as the previous week. If a member of a team hasn’t played at all for their team at the end of the fourth week, they must play the last three weeks. If that team captain doesn’t send in the weekly line up, that gamer will be added to the line up and the gamer who has scored the most points for the team up to that point of the season will be taken off of the line up. Each team will only be allowed to replace one member of their team for the entire season. To replace a member, the team captain must notify the league commissioner of the change, what gamer they want to add to the team and what gamer they want to remove from the team. But, the same requirements are needed for any replacement. The commissioner will check all of the requirements and notify the league of the change. All replacements must be made by 12 noon on Tuesdays. The last day that any replacement may be made is Sept 30th. This is the Tuesday of Week 5. After Week 5, there will be no more replacements allowed. Replacements must still play the 3 weeks.
--The weekly official scores will come from the daily blogs at www.360voice.com. Matches will be every Thursday to Sunday. Scoring will start every Thursday at 1:00am PST. 360voice starts pulling daily scores at 12:00am PST, but the pulling of the scores can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. So, that is why the start time is 1:00am PST. Scoring will end every Sunday at 11:59pm PST. Again, 360voice will start pulling scores at 12:00am PST. As teams play each other each week, the team with the most points gained in those 4 days will get a win, where the other team will get a lose. If the teams would come to a tie after the 4 days then each team will get a tie for the week. Each week, there will be a thread set up for a scoreboard for that week. These scores aren’t official, but it will give every team an idea of where their team stands for the week. On achievement points must have dates!! Gamercards will be randomly checked though-out the season for any type of cheating. If a gamertag is found to have points without dates, those points will be removed from the gamer’s & team’s totals. Any gamer found to be cheating will be removed from the league and have all points gained for their team reset to zero(0). If any gamer, changes their gamertag during the league, they must notify the league commissioner of the change. For scoring, they must also notify admin@360voice.com. It will take several days to have the blog corrected, so if a gamer changes their tag, and the blog isn’t corrected, the gamer will receive 0 points until the blog is corrected. Any gamer can play any game to gain points for their team. NO GAMES will be BANNED for the league.
--Sign ups for the league will start on August 1st. Sign ups will end on August 25th. The season will officially start on September 4th. The season will end on October 19th. After the season is over, there will be 2 rounds of playoffs to determine the league champions. There will be 4 teams that qualify for the playoffs. The four teams will be the three divisional winners and the wild card team. The wild card team will be the team with the next best record. If two teams would tie for a divisional championship, the following will be used to determine the divisional winner: 1) Divisional Record, 2) Head 2 Head record, 3) Season Points scored. If two or more teams tie for the wild card, the following will be determined the wild card winner: Season Points scored. If there are not enough teams for divisions, the Playoffs will consist of the 4 teams with the best record. Ties will be handled as follows: 1) Head 2 Head Record, 2) Total Points scored in season by active players, 3) Total Points scored during the season by all 5 players. The first round of the playoffs will be October 23rd-26th. The divisional winner with the best record will play the wild card team, while the other two divisional winners play each other. If two divisional winners would have the same record for the best record, the following will be used to determine who will play the wild card team in the first round: Season Points scored. The two winners of these matches will advance to play each other October 30th-November 2nd to determine the league champion. NOTE: During the playoffs all 5 gamers on the team will score their teams.
--The Rookie of the Season award will be given out at the end of the season. This award is for gamers who have never played in the league before and their gamerscores are under 50k. The winner will receive a site achievement and a prize to be announced later.
--The Most Improved Player award will be given out at the end of the season. This award is for gamers who have played in the league before or any new gamer that has a gamerscore over 50k. The winner will receive a site achievement and a prize to be announced later.
--Each gamer will only be able to get one of these awards. There will be a top ten list after each week for each award.
--Since we are going to have 5 gamers per team, but only 4 gamers scoring each week, I will also track the gamers who are off of the week. Any points gained during those off weeks will also count towards the ROS or MIP award.
--The MVP award will be given out at the end of the season. This is our fourth season of the league and every season we are always trying to come up with a best way to determine the MVP award. The only thing for sure is that the Team Captains & League Admin will be voting for the League’s MVP at the end of the season. The method of voting for the MVP will be discussed and determined before the league starts.
--The Rookie of the Season & Most Improved Player awards will be announced at the end of the season. The voting for the MVP will take place during the first round of the Playoffs and announced as soon as that round is over.
--I will post the schedule once I have all of the teams & their names.
