The tournament team doesn't have much experience with racing games and sports games, so we're looking for a member or two with experience in these genres... an expert if you will.
What we need is someone who plays a TON of racers and/or someone who plays a TON of sports games. We also need someone who doesn't mind doing a bit of work to help sort out the settings for these games.
We don't need someone with any experience on the logistical side of the tournament's (brackets, etc.) what we need is someone to help out with what settings need to be used to run games in these genre's, what rules to eliminate cheating, what rules to make it accessible to everyone.
Anyone who is interested simply post here with a bit of your experience and let us know that you would like to help out.

My gamercard speaks for itself:D I live and die by sports and racers and i've played sports my entire life. I also am the co-owner of an LLC that runs soccer tourneys around the east coast, so I know alot about brackets and the logistical side of everything.
I'm here to help however I can:)

I'm a sports nut, been playing sports and watching sports my whole life, I usually run a NCAA Tournament pool every year and I usually set it up. If you look at the 11 game I've completed, 9 of them are Sport games. Pretty much Sport games is all I play.
I'm sure Turbo is more qualified than I am so no big shocker if he gets selected over me. :)

I love racing games, especially Forza, and I really enjoy Sports games, especially the Football ones. :)
Well, I guess that's all I say, as Turbo and Bball seem like better candidates. lol
All I ask is that the next tourny be Madden 09. ;)

Don't look at it as a voting or candidacy thing. Look at this as more of a resume so that we can pool everyone's strengths together to form the best team possible.:)
Plus I'm busy as shit and want to help, but don't know how much time i'll have.

QFT Well said man.
Especially about helping when possible, because my time will be limited as well, but I'm here when needed I guess, and that's the most important thing.
And btw, that win is a fluke. You'll be getting rid of your sig soon....

I agree with you guys. It doesn't matter by voting and shit. Just put everyones together and go from there. :)
Also i played the shit out of the NFS's. I love those games. I have experience with them :D

I say we have me, Turbo, Pig, and Razor together. Then we find what all sport games we like and can easily set up and then go from there. That way we have more people helping set up the tournaments which would mean a far better success rate. Just my thoughts.

LMAO! A fluke he says. A HUGE win is a fluke.
Don't worry good sir, Edwards is underappreciated and Lynch will run the train on anyone who enters. Its the Bills division now that Brady is gone.

A little off-topic I guess. But Turbo I just ordered NHL 09 from ebgames.com and payed for overnight shipping. So it should be at my house Thursday afternoon. So I can do the online achievements whenever your ready after Thursday.

Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. I have my days planned out perfectly for the GSL so I am smashed Thursday and most of Friday.;)
I went to my Wal-Mart and they didn't have it, so i'm going to head to EB Games tomorrow and grab it along with NHL 08, seeing as how I have a friend in the Top 50 so I can finish that shit.

I wouldn't mind an NHL 09 tourney coming up. Fresh new game. We never had a hockey tourney before nor have i ever been in one before.. It would be interesting.. We could have like either a round robin style, Elimination style.. I highly doubt teams would work...
In other words.. NHL 09 tourney would be fun and interesting.. I could definately look forward to it..:D Plus everyone would be on their own so there wouldn't really be any bitching or anything. If someone never showed up then they would be DQ'd, simple as that. :)

The only problem is us Brits. I have the bare minimum knowledge of football and know that ice hockey consists of beating the crap out of each other to get a puck in to a goal smaller than the keeper.
And if Madden was to be the toruny, hope you draw me in the first round.

LOL! The net isn't smaller than the goalie.. Then nobody would score lol..
I see where you are going though ;)
