Experiencing a Horrible Glitch

Ok, I just started this game the other day, and I'm stuck at Preston Hotel, right when you come up on the roof where there are a bunch of guys with bandannas over their mouths shooting pistols. The first time, I killed most of them, but then died. No big deal, I restart from last save point, but now I can't move. All I can do is walk around with the LS and use X to check out the forensic stuff. I can't look around, I can't run, I can't fight, I can't do anything. When I push any of the buttons nothing happens, it's like the game is stuck. All I can really do is die :mad:

The controller works fine out of the game, so that's not the problem. I also tried restarting the system, but it must be something with the save file. This is really annoying, and I don't feel like restarting the whole mission. This is the kind of stuff that makes me get rid of the game and never touch it again. Any help would be appreciated.

have you finished the forensics on the level ?

I played this game but I did it in under a day so I forget some things about it. I'd say you may have to restart the mission, or try doing a load last check point in game (i forget if it has it) not just load the game at last check point.

Try using your little meter thing and changing it from UV to everything else and see if you missed something.Can you even pick up anything? or maybe run backwards in the level (if possible, and die further back?

Don't fret. It's a good story even if it's a bit glitchy. I enjoyed the game and I'm not usually one to play single player games.

Never had a problem when I went through it, try restarting your last checkpoint.

Try clearing your cache?

I'm going to play through it in a few weeks...hopefully I don't have the same problem.
