so anyway, whats it like winning for a second time?

i was happy because i did spend some time on the piece

how long did you spend on teh piece?

around 2 hours, i think. it was a lot of erasing

on average how long do you usually spend on your TWoSM entries? just so the other entrants know what they are up against

it depends on what i'm trying to do with it, but i guess anywhere from 1-3 hours. the pieces aren't that large.

seems appropriate for the size you use, do you enjoy the work that you do in photoshop and illustrator etc?

yeah, i have fun with it, or i try to. it's what i'm going to school for and now have an internship working with it.

do you intend to carry this on into a future career or is it purely a hobby?

it's more of a career for me.

just keep at it and make sure to do a lot of tutorials, that's really what's helped me.

it's something to think about. i've never done something like that before, so maybe i should give it at try when i can.

make sure everyone read's dan's tutorial about color, alot of people can make a really good piece and have it turn out crappy just because they made the wrong color choices.

yeah I know what you mean, I see alot of my pieces go down hill because of stupid choices on colour and other small details like text placement.

i think it takes me longer to pick out a font than anything, it's crazy.

yeah, font is always a bitch to choose. I always end up just picking a standard font like Times New Roman for the sake of ease, do you have any recomendations on text for hopeful entrants of the next competition?

i used the site dafont.com and they have lots of cool fonts. i will normally design my piece first then pick out a font just for it.
