Dead Rising follows the harrowing tale of Frank West, an overly zealous freelance photojournalist on a hunt for the scoop of a lifetime. In pursuit of a juicy lead, he makes his way to a small suburban town only to find that it has become overrun by zombies. He escapes to the local shopping mall, thinking it will be a bastion of safety, but it turns out to be anything but.

Take the lead as Frank and engage in a struggle to survive the endless stream of enemies. With a full compliment of stores at your disposal in the mall, you'll need to be creative—utilizing anything you can find to fight off the flesh-hungry mob—and search for the truth behind the horrendous epidemic.


* Real-time gameplay: Time marches on whether Frank is actively engaged or simply stationary.

* Dynamic enemies: Record numbers of zombies come in never-ending waves and react to their environment. Though they move slowly during the day, the zombies become stronger and faster at night, making it even more dangerous for players to survive. These former humans have also retained some memory of their previous lives, giving them unique behaviors and appearances.

* Visual clarity: Playing in native 720p resolution allows for unprecedented detail and clarity in gameplay.

* Weapons aplenty: The variety of stores available to you in the mall offer an endless supply of resources, including vehicles, makeshift weapons, and food.

* Save and learn: Encounter other survivors along the way. Helping them will give you more clues as to what has happened and what you need to do to stop it.

I gave the game a 3 as to me it is the worse game on the 360, but that is just my opinion as i know alot of ppl love the game. But not me.

A 7 is not bad folks, so your hardcore-fans can just leave me alone. The game was a surprisingly fun game. It came out of nowhere and gave me an enjoyable experience. However, I have never been a fan of zombie games, and this one only hooked me because of the cool story. Yet, killing zombies does get old, and single-player goes only so far. If this game had ANY multiplayer to speak of, I would have easily given it a 9.


However, the game gets a very great 7, but not quite an 8 in my book.:o

Its fun, but the difficulty makes playing this game a task. The save system is garbage in my opinion and not being able to have 2 games at once is kinda gay. The graphics and game play are both good though and i love being able to carry over your character, pretty cool if you ask me. Game is a solid 7 imo

I gave it a seven. It was a pretty good game, but not what I was expecting. I thought it would be something like Land of The Dead, where you actually fear the zombies. In this game the zombies are slow and dumb, but the game is still okay.

Great graphics and interesting story, and incredibly fun.. for awhile. It does get repetive after continual playing, but fun to pick up occsaionally.

I gave it a 10. I love this game! Putting horse masks on zombies then hitting golf balls at them is good fun! Lets also not forget the deadly heated frying pan! Sizzle!

Gave it an 8, still a great single player game although can become a tad bit repetitive would easily be a 9 if not 10 for me if only they had brought out the co-op gameplay!!!!

8- I personally like its achievements for one, they are pretty fun and theres quite a few to do, they require more then one playn through which could go either way, make you bored or if like me, keep you playing cos its a fun game.

7 - fun at first, but gets a bit repititive. Story line is brilliant and there are many different paths to play it. The saving system really lets it down, as does the shooting system.

8! Excellent game. It has great graphics and is funny and scary in places. Game has huge replay value IMO. However it does have its flaws, no co-op, iritating save system and stupidly small text with no voiceovers. Heres hoping to the sequel.
