Well, I used to be a fairly active member of OiNK (the greatest music torrent site on teh webz!), but it kinda got shut down :(


Here were my thoughts on the idea:

Thread title with artist and genre, in a certain format.

Body of the thread with a description of the artist with links to videos of their works on youtube, their website or things of that nature.

Discussion of the artist, what makes them different from others in the same genre of them, and other talk of that nature.


Feedback and constructive criticism on my idea would be appreciated :)

I don't think we have enough members to really make indepth discussion about music work. We could just set it up and see how much it gets used though.

That's the thing, I don't want to have to sift through what's already in the entertainment board to get to what I'm interested in.

Maybe we could make a new category of forums: Media. Then have Movies, Music, Misc., or whatnot.

What about a sub forum of Media called artist discussion? Then someone could create a thread about their favorite artist and discuss away.

although if its in media and its called artist discussion, some people may get a little confused.

A sub forum in entertainment would be the best place for something like this. I think its a great idea by the way but right now it might not be worth the trouble. Maybe when we start getting more active people on the site.

i like the idea, but at the moment, we dont have enough members, i say code writes this idea and maybe at new year put it into place ??

With the re-ordering I did today...I've added a sub forum until media titled Music. Feel free to post an artist profile in there if you want to.
