Seems to be the "in" thing at the moment, so I'm going to go with the flow. C&C wanted. I will only post my new works here.

I wouldnt say it's busy, i'd say the image is complex.
Image is fantastic and really looks the business, as far as the image goes I can't see anything that is out of place / or wrong with the design, it's perfect.
Text fits the sig well but could be improved when you get to grips with text effects a bit more.
Really there is nothing wrong with this image, the above is just nitpicks.
Good Work.

I don't really know what to do when it comes to text. Hopefully, if you are still planning on doing them, you do a theory on text. That would help loads.
Note: I also added the tut I used. Coudln't really find another decent stock to go with it. If anyone knows any good stock sites, please let me know.

Me and JJ are going to be doing some Audio-Tutorials soon. Basically JJ will be doing one of his many great tutorials and i'll be adding theory and other things into them.
Other things are planned to be coming out of the Media Factory known as JJ & Flash such as ConsoleHeroes.com exclusive brush sets and perhaps even a freshly made typeface...

Now that sounds like something worth downloading.

Outstanding sig, really good work. I love the colors and the way you made it flow. I only have two nitpicks,; the clipping mask over his hair distorts the flow of it a bit and the border doesn't really suit the image IMO, other than that excellent work.

Good Idea, But it's not really convincing enough for me to like it.
I think you could probably add a colour filter on top of the fist to make it suit the image better, instead of having it the standard colour.

A photofilter...didn't thinkg of that. I was struggling to make it blend. I'll give it a shot.

Looks better now, good job.
But in your avatar the image gets resized to fit, therefore pixilating it slightly. You might want to resize it in PS so the image looks 'cleaner'.

I think the fist looks sorta out of place, try moving it down a little so it covers the fist in the image, or maybe just making it larger

It's been a while since I've done anything worth posting, but since the TWoSM is back up, I'll do some more.

The edges of the shapes are too choppy, but I'm not really sure how to fix it up well. Thanks to Skillet who helped me make it less choppy!

I really want some feedback on this. I've never really done anything in this style. Thanks to Josef for giving me some ideas.

Pretty good AJ... I only have two criticisms:
The Bitmap text appears blurry. I think the size may be too big, or AA is on. Or it could just be my eyes! :P
I'm not 100% on those curvy pen-tool/brush lines... I can see you were going for depth like I said, but the clouded, almost fractual background seems to contradict those shapes... :S
Overall, very nice. Keep it up.
EDIT: Forgot to say what I liked about it. :P
I think the render blends very well with the background, and the light is pretty much spot-on. The colours that you have used are nice, and suit the piece. I also love the 'Farcry2' text, I don't know if that is a render, or a typeface but it looks awesome! :D

@Josef: The image itself is just a wallpaper from Far Cry. What I'm trying to do is get used to brushes - in this case vector. I'm new to using brushes, so anything would help.
@Webbie: PM me what sort of thing you would like and I'll see what I can do.

Edit: There are bits of blue on either side, but I can't see them in Photoshop or erase them. Can anyone help me with that?

Nice one AJ. Great piece, though the text is kind of plain. Going with a bigger canvas was definately the right choice with that render. As for those spots on the side, try making a new layer, fill it with black and put it at the bottom of the stack and see if that makes them show up.

I like it but the text should be hidden better. Try creating a new layer and then apply image then erase most of the new layer.

I agree with the text. It was rushed last night, but I'm going to fix it today. I found with an even bigger canvas, it seems a lot better, but that's just the way it goes, I guess.
Also, I have tried putting a black (and white) layer on the bottom, but nothing shows up.

Maybe it's on an unexpected layer?
Try just editing the PNG version.
