I've never like them really. The vocalist is just horrible.
Tom Morello is a great guitarist though...there's no doubting that.

Liked Rage for a long time. One of my "Secret Favorites" as a young kid, because they had... CUSS LANGUAGE, and the parents/teachers wouldn't approve.

I've never like them really. The vocalist is just horrible.

i think that the 2nd album is now one of the best albums they have done all though when it 1st came out i didnt like it to much.

As we discussed in another forum..it's all about personal taste and Pred's original post asked what everyone thought.
Personally whenever Rocha opens his mouth I want to rip my ears out and beat my bloody head against a wall covered in sand paper.

yeh RATMs sound is sort of like an aquired taste. I used to have similar issues with death metal bands and their growls...the guitar playing is awesome but the vocals didnt do it for me. but considering its what my friends listened to most i sort of got used to it. everyone is entitled to their own opinion though, and personally i like ratm.
Rage Against The Machine is my favorite band. Look at my avatar :cool:

You guys know i had to say something in this thread.
Hey Sivil, i hope you are excited about seeing rage, TRUST ME... it is the single greatest live band experience anyone can have...period. I was in a crowd with over 80,000 people and EVERYONE was going crazy...one of the best times of my life.

That looks like just about every live experience I've had. Guys on stage moving around.
Skynyrd was the experience for me.
