This just in from the North Pole:

Attention all Heroes, I need your help! My reindeer have all gotten lost in your forums! I need you all to gather them up by the 24th so I can make my annual present delivery. It's of the utmost importance, and I have a special present made for the Hero who finds the most reindeer. There are 50 in total, and they could be anywhere. They are avid lurkers, and I've seen them browsing everywhere on the site. But it would seem that your site has gotten so big, that they actually lost themselves in the forums! Now hurry Heroes, a merry Christmas now lies in your hands!

Alright everyone, you heard Santa. There are 50 reindeer on the site. My sources tell me they could be absolutely anywhere. I managed to get a picture of one (thanks to Crash), and this is what it looked like:

Whoever finds the most reindeer will win Santa's prize. When you find one, post the link to the thread, and the post # that the reindeer is hidden in. If two people find the same one at the same time, whoever posts the location first will get the credit. After all 50 are found, the Hero who found the most out of those 50 will be declared the winner. Now lets find those reindeer! (avatars don't count. :p)

TO GIVE EVERYONE A FAIR CHANCE AT SEEING THIS THREAD, THE REINDEER WON'T BE HIDDEN UNTIL TOMORROW AFTER 2:00 EST. I WILL BE APPEARING OFFLINE SO NO ONE WILL SEE WHERE I'M HIDING THE REINDEER. STAFF MEMBERS WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS CONTEST, BECAUSE THEY WILL ALL BE GIVEN THE LOCATIONS IN ORDER TO HELP SORT OUT THE WINNER. GOOD LUCK!

It will be the picture (the one in my avatar). 50 of them will be hidden all throughout the forums, in random threads. Which means a lot of searching will need to be done. ;)

This sounds like fun!:D Are you going to delete the pic once someone finds it or what? For example, two people find one within minutes of each other, the person who found the reindeer gets the credit, or would both get it?

Is it a race TO 50, or are there 50 up for grabs, and a reindeer cannot be slected for two different people?

Yes, when you find one, just post the location in this thread. Post a link to the thread, and the post # that the reindeer was in.

Ok, clarification: there will be 50 reindeer total. If 2 people find the same one at the same time, the person to post the location first gets the credit. Once all 50 are found, the winner will be the Hero who found the most out of those 50. When a reindeer is found, it will be deleted out of the post it was in. That should cut down on confusion.

That does pretty much clear everything up, thanks.
Is there a runner-up? It would be funny if one person found 18, and the other person found 17 and spent twice as much time. LOL. :p Actually, that would suck. Hmm. :o

Sure, I did. :cool:

@ K Dog, the reindeer multiplied like rabbits last Spring. Santa told me that he's using all 50 now because it makes his sleigh go faster. ;)

No, the reindeer aren't up yet. This is the last time I'm going to post here until after I hide the reindeer. I'm not going to give away the exact time I'm starting, but I will let everyone know when I'm done. ;) I will say this: They will be hidden sometime today.

Alright everyone, the reindeer are hidden! When you find one, post the link and the post # that it's in. When I verify that you have found one, your find will be added to the results list in the first post, and that reindeer will be deleted. The contest will end when all 50 are found. Good luck!
