Microsoft discounts Wireless Racing Wheel to $99

Happy day racing fans, because Microsoft is spreading the holiday cheer by announcing that they've cut the price of the Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel to $99. W00t to that!

The 360 Wireless Racing Wheel peripheral previously retailed for $129 (before that $149) and now, with a $30 price drop and plastic that doesn't start on fire, the wheel is ready to take over PGR, Forza and NASCAR fans' living rooms. Then again, this racing wheel bundle has been discounted at retailers for the past few months and, in some cases, selling for even less than $99. But who cares, it's an official price drop and if Microsoft says a $99 Wireless Racing Wheel is a good deal then darnit, you're obligated to buy. That's just how it works around here. Vroom!

I always wanted that wheel, just couldn't bring myself to buy it. May give it a chance now, would definitly improve the Forza 2 and Burnout experience.

Well I wish you were in Michigan because I would sell you mine. I bought it last Christmas and used it 2 times,no I have not sent it in for the recall or what ever
but I can tell you(this is my opinion)but you need a special chair and mounting brakets for it to be comfortable,Now I'm 6'4 so it's not real comfortable and its real small,it certainly was not worth 159.00 so I can see why they lowered its price.
Of course if I had started out racing PGR 3 with it instead of a regular controller than it might be different ,and maybe I did not give it a long enough chance.
but the chair that would be perfect for it is 300.00 bucks so I gave up.

i had one for the original xbox only used it once it was a big let down, and i had a gun for xbox 2 :0 do u think they will release a gun for xbox 360 ?

eh. i couldn't see paying $100 for a wheel. i don't like racing games all that much tho, i own forza 2 but rarely play it so i guess i'm some what bias. anyways. it's not that bad considering it was 159.00 or whatever.
