XBOX Live down?

Is anyone else having this issue? When I test my network it just says that XBOX Live failed... I'm going to give them a call in a few minutes but I figured I'd check to see if anyone else is getting this :(

It's still having some hiccups. Last night it kicked me off anytime I put a new game in. But after it kicked me off and I signed back in a few times it would let me stay on.

Well I guess I got on Live around 11 pm and was on until 3 am collecting all that DLC stuff for those games. I didn't even know it was having problems, I was some what oblivious to the world in all honesty.

10:48 pm central time on thursday and i'm having problems. i'm signed online, but it shows that the xbox live tab is still trying to load, along with the marketplace and games tabs. like it's not all the way connected. but it says i'm online and that i have 5 friends online. anyone else having simliar problems?

They're having capacity problems, but are slowly getting their servers back online. It's actually allready improving, earlier CoD matchmaking didn't work at all but I was just able to get a good fifteen games in, just make sure you don't leave your server once you got it going. ;)

No ones gamercard will load for me. I unlock achievements and they don't get added to the score next to get the title in the games list.

Starting to get abit pissed off with it, I don't expect to pay for unavailable this unavailable that.

Live has been messing up for me since yesterday..

The marketplace blade and all the other blades won't load, it constantly keeps saying I'm signing in and out of live. This is getting really annoying..

So, I don't have the patience to monkey-fart around with XBL. I think to myself, hey, I could check out xbox.com and my zune.net pages and see what's up. WRONG ANSWER!!! Zune.net is running...barely. I can't get xbox.com to load up at all. I have it set to auto log-in and it keeps freezing up at that transition screen. This SUCKS!!! M$ better get their butts in gear ASAP!


PS - I'm also having trouble connecting my MSN when Trillian loads up. My other connections go instantly. MSN takes at least 5 minutes to connect. WTD is up with that? Geeze Louise!

J/K, but really, it's been jacking up for a week or two, they're going to fix it, they're not stupid. If these types of issues were to continue nobody would keep their XBOX Live service, so they're obviously going to fix it. We're all too spoiled now a days, Live has been up and functioning for a few years and has never gone down other than for a few hours, with constant growth it doesn't surprise me at all that a few hiccups should show up eventually. I guess in today's society of instant gratification waiting a week or two for a company to sort out unforseen problems is unacceptable... so what are the alternatives? Cancel your XBOX Live subscription? That'll teach 'em.

Avoid recovering your Gamertag to other people's 360's while this is going on. My buddy tried to recover to mine today and it got about halfway and stopped. Now his GT is in some form of limbo since he has to recover it back to his and he can't.

One of the game testers told me once that even when they tried to make it lag as bad as it could in testing it still didn't turn out as bad as it does online. :D

We were having issues playing Shadowrun yesterday...no one could connect, then when we could, we had to play bot games because of he slowness and randomness of Live. The problem is still there, and hopefully it gets fixed...soon...

Supposedly the whole lag is due to the massive overload frm the holiday and 5th anniversary of Live... Anyway it seem sin the afternoon for me (2-5 EST) live is terrible. By the night (6-11 EST) it is fine... So I play skate and offline in the afternoon and online during the night :D

Yeah lol it was completely retarded. Hell what was screwing over XBL probably wasn't the people that got the Xbox for christmas it was probably people getting new accounts so they could play some damn demos.

Dashboard is just plain retarded right now. I hit connect to xbox live(shouldn't have to, i have auto sign in) and it connects connects connects, then it shows me logged in but it still says connect to xbox live. iono. imma see if it still lets me play or if it wont let me do anything.
