Well like an hour ago, I turned on my xbox. Like 3 minutes of having it on it just shuts off and turns back on immediatly. Then I thought, Oh crap, RROD..but it wasn't..nothing happened. So can anyone tell me why this happened? Is this a sign of my xbox soon breaking?

Not necessarily; it could just be a software hiccup. Now if it starts doing it often or rebooting in the middle of a game then I'd be concerned. Listen for how much noise it makes, how hot it gets, and if it does any other strange things. But just the random weird thing like that, no; I have Windows XP reboot my computer for no reason before. I think its just a Microsoft thing.

A friend of mine done that the other day it was an update and he did not notice he went outside came back in and his 360 rebooted but that was his issue, but like clipse said if anything strange does keep happining then i would be worried.

The guide and dashboard, as well as some other parts of the xbox OS become very unstable when live is having problems, I wouldn't worry about it.

Best check your power suppy cable for tightness as well. (cable surge protector also)
