History Channel: Battle of the Pacific Guide
Single Player GS: 460

Ok, this is very IMPORTANT. The General Achievement for beating the entire game on hard is glitched. You cannot earn it without finishing the ENTIRE game on hard in one sitting. Believe me, I had to play through the game twice on hard to unlock it.
This game is very linear so you shouldn’t have a problem and even on hard there is only one difficult section, and that is your final beach landing, in which you will die repeatedly until you learn to properly mimic the soldier in front of you and avoid death.
Lastly, the game is an on-rails type shooter, so do not stray too far away from your team or the mission will end. That said, I am going to first list the single player achievements having explained that you will need to just play through them.
1. Complete Wake Island
Beat Wake Island on any difficulty setting. 10 Points
2. Complete Bataan
Beat Bataan on any difficulty setting. 10 Points
3. Complete Guadalcanal 1
Beat Guadalcanal 1 on any difficulty setting. 10 Points
4. Complete Guadalcanal 2
Beat Guadalcanal 2 on any difficulty setting. 10 Points
5. Complete Leyte 1
Beat Leyte 1 on any difficulty setting. 20 Points
6. Complete Leyte 2
Beat Leyte 2 on any difficulty setting. 20 Points
7. Complete Luzon
Beat Luzon on any difficulty setting. 20 Points

Multiplayer:
For the most part these are self explanatory. You can earn almost everything here in 2 player Player Match games. That said, let me offer some tips:
35. To The Victor Go The Spoils
Be the most skillful player in a Ranked Match. 20 Points
This achievement requires four players (minimum necessary to start ranked match). Easiest way to get this is have the other players all kill themselves until the match is over.
The remainder can be unlocked during 2 player Player Match play. The following three achievements are for fulfilling certain criteria:
29. Defensive Front
Kill the flag carrier 5 times in a CTF game. 20 Points
Easiest way to do this, Player Match, 2 Players; have your boosting partner capture your flag but not score it. Kill him and flag respawns, have him come back four more times.
30. Leadership
Win 50 Team Deathmatch, 50 Capture the Flag, or 50 Team Elimination games. 20 Points
Set up Team Deathmatch or Team Elimination with 1 Kill Limit, even better to do this when yo are the host as you need to host 100 matches to get this achievement:
27. On The Front Lines
Host and complete 100 multiplayer matches. 20 Points
39. Last Man Standing
Win 10 Elimination games. 20 Points
Set the game to one kill wins and it should take about five minutes.
31. Total War
Have a 5 to 1 or better Kill to Death ratio in a multiplayer match (minimum of 20 kills). 20 Points
I decided to do this one when I was boosting for the weapons kills. Set the kill limit to 50 and take turns shutting the other person out.
38. One-Man Army
Be the only person on your team to score points in a Capture The Flag game. 20 Points
This is simple, win a shut out at capture the flag, 2 Player Player Match works.
Weapons Achievements:
Just use the weapons it asks you to use to fulfill the requirements. Nothing complicated here. The delineation between American and Japanese weapons is straightforward. Japanese weapons are all identified by numbers, American weapons have numbers and names. Also, I prefer the map HQ as it is fairly small. All the weapons you will need to find respawn on the ground.
22. Japanese Weapon Expert
Accumulate 500 kills with any Japanese weapons in any multiplayer mode. 50 Points
23. American Weapon Expert
Accumulate 500 kills with any American weapons in any multiplayer mode. 50 Points
24. Marksman
Get 200 headshots without a scope or pistol in any multiplayer mode. . 20 Points
25. Sniper
Get 100 headshots using a scope in any multiplayer mode. 20 Points
26. Purple Heart
Die 250 times in any multiplayer mode. 0 Points
28. Heavy Gunner
Accumulate 100 kills with the BAR or Type 96 LMG in any multiplayer mode. . 20 Points
32. Grenadier
Accumulate 50 kills with Grenades in any multiplayer mode. 20 Points
33. Close Combat
Kill 50 opponents with melee attacks in any multiplayer mode. 20 Points
34. Going Out With A Bang
Kill yourself and an opponent with an explosive 10 times in any multiplayer mode. 20 Points
36. Dueler
Accumulate 50 kills with a pistol in any multiplayer mode. 20 Points
41. Light Gunner
Accumulate 100 kills with the Thompson or Type 100 in any multiplayer mode. 20 Points
43. Trench Gunner
Accumulate 50 kills with the Trench Gun in any multiplayer mode. 40 Points
