I don't know if this is in the works or not, but I think it would be cool if there was somewhere that you can see a list of each Comp Badge & who has them, like the Hero Achievements Showcase. Just an idea.

Most definitely. It's been in the works since the current release has been out.

It's also something I want done quickly.

I'm not sure, i mean a few of our members have a completion list the length of Bobby Brown's wrap sheet. Talk about stretching a page and all, Just not sure if its needed to be honest. Good idea none-the-less.

I think you have it a bit wrong.

Say I was to go to your profile and clicked on Avatar(assuming you have it done).

Then it would go to a new page, with the game name and image, and then list all of the other people that have that badge. That way we can see who has completed that game as well.

I like the sound of that i think it would be a great idea to do that

Maybe I do have it wrong. I thought he meant for it to be on the left hand side like the Achievement Showcase thats located there. My bad.

Clipse, I think it's going to be like the Site Achievement Page (http://www.consoleheroes.com/forums/awards.php). Showing the Pic, Title, and who has it.

That's a great idea. I like the look of it. I need to work on completing some more games to get these badges.

I had an idea on how to make something like this work that is not much trouble but a little time consuming. Add a stickied topic to each game's subforum that exists already and have it locked. Title it Completed Badge Award Winners and detail the list of people have earned a completion badge for that game.

When you view a members profile, if you clicked on a games completion badge, it would take you to the thread like the one mentioned above created for that game.

Nice idea, but we are working on having it look like the Hero Achievements (http://www.consoleheroes.com/forums/awards.php).

That takes far too much work when it can all be automated easliy :D

What about when the page load gets too long? Are you going to segregate the games list in to genres?

Why would it take too long? I mean unless your on Dial-Up, then you shouldn't be at a online gaming site.

Like I don't know why errbody is complaining about load times.

 He wasn't referring to load times. Long as in the length of the list; which towards the end of the Xbox lifecycle could be one hell of a list.

Well if its gonna be like the Awards, thats like 2 images per game, and then just text.

Could be like when you click "Members" link at the top of the forums, and have them all organized alphabetically. Much better then genre because some people will forget lets say Mass Effect and maybe they don't remember what genre it is? but they know it starts with a M.

But he did say "page load is too long" so that could be interpreted as the way I said it or the way you said it.

Am I right? Am I right?

You're right it was a context issue; long load vs. page load gets too long. The thing is this site isn't going to just have a few hundred members forever, the more members we get with 50 posts and requesting completion badges the more names that would be beside those badges. We could have 100 member names next to some such as TMNT, Madden games, and other easy games. Depending how long their user names are will determine how many lines worth of names we'll have next to those badges.

The idea you suggested though should work and I agree with you having them in alphabetical order would be better than by genre.

So we could essentially like use both the Members page layout and the Hero Achievements layout and put them in good use to show off the Completion Badges, and whats cool about that is, its automated.

Way better then, "post in this thread so we can take 2 weeks to edit this other thread so we can put your name there."

I do like the idea of it being somehow linked to the game forums. Like yesterday I was having problems with an achievement in NCAA 2008 Football so I went to the forum to see if there were any guides or tips, and there was not. So next I went to my friends list to see who has 1000 in the game, which Turbo did and I sent him a message asking for a few tips.

Just some sort of link from the game forum itself to who has the completion badge for that game would be handy, for me anyway. :)
