I think my 360 is messing up?

Like when I open the tray it makes some weird noise like it's stoping the disc or something. Earlier I was playing WSOP and it kept doing it but in game, i turned it off took the disc out put it back in and it played normal it's like it's locking or something. Anyone know any fixes for this, or is just something i'll have to live with?

i hate to bring bad news but this is what happened to mine after this stage it doesnt let u open the disk tray. and then.......3 red lights

It spins down but doesn't give you a dirty disc error? That's odd.

Anyway, sounds like the motor in your DVD drive might be dying. There are ways to open the tray if it does though, so no worries.

Weren't you talking about maybe buying an elite?

Say I'm playing a game.. then i hit the guide button and i hit (Y) and go back to the menu, it makes a weird grind noise and then goes on like normal. Iono, doesn't do it all the time. It does that too when i just hit eject. So iono. but yes i am considering buying an elite, maybe with my income tax. I'd like to be able to sell this one though, iono. Thanks for the input.

If it breaks before you sell it. Sell it on ebay . Broken 360's go from 100-200 us dollars .Just make sure you list whats wrong with it. Listing whats wrong with it draws out the buyers that can fix that problem. I sold one that had error 74 for 130 us dollars.
