I have been having a problem. Recently, I have had to use a proxy to get to this website. Before, I could use internet explorer, but now I my computer freezes up EVERYTIME i get on using IE. So, I started using proxy sites like kproxy and vtunnel. And now, everytime I click links, I only get the options of "mark forums read" something about my buddy list, and "log out". WTD
Also, in the proxy servers, I can't click the smilies or anything in the editing toolbars and such when you type your posts. (like I am now) I can't click the bold button or anything. :(
Suggestion? My main concern is that I want to look at the leaderboards and the other links. I can live with typing out the smilies.

I can't download Firefox, for the same reason I can't download IE 8. It makes my computer crash. :( I don't know much about computers, but I know a little. Is there anything else you guys can suggest or come up with that I am overlooking?

Sounds to me you can use a wipe and reload.
And it's IE 7, not 8.
What version of Windows are you running?
I'm going to move all of this to a new thread...so we can keep discussion here about the leaderboard.

Well, if you're using firefox, why use IE theme, unless you actully like the setup. j/k :)
But yes, another client might be better. Try looking for older netscapes, and firefox version.
---ALSO---
Maybe try running a program that cleans up you computer history like CCleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com/download) along with AdAware (http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-2007-Free/3000-8022_4-10045910.html?part=dl-ad-aware&subj=dl&tag=top5) and Spybot (http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html). These will help you get rid of bad and unneccessary files. All are freeware too so enjoy:)

But why are you using a proxy? Of course that's going to screw up some elements of the site.
