Offline/Online Images [Archive]

This isn't really important, nor a question. Its more of a inquiry per se.

See where it says "is Offline"

There should be a image to represent if the user is "Offline" or "Online". Whats there is normally the "alt" tag of the image if its not there, like it isn't now.

But the images are on the server, so why ain't yall using em?

They are the default ones that come with vB. Those are kinda crappy, but why not make some new ones?

I like this idea. It should be able to be done in VB. Not sure if the server supports VB or not. I recently helped one of my bosses at work do something similar to this. You were able to tell if the computer was on and off. All we did was change the color of the icon to represent it.

I don't know though maybe I'm stepping out of my place.

This website is ran on LAMP...VB is something totally different. Unless of course you're building an ASP website.

This skin in particular doesn't use status images on this page as you can see:

Last time I came to this page I thought about making them these other status images we have:

I didn't change the code...that's the way this skin was written.

Really? thats..weird. I guess whomever designed this skin, wasn't fond of Online/Offline images, or they just forgot. Nevertheless..

Need..Fists...Colorcoded..for Online/Offline..Images..!

How am I suppose to prove the RROD to a staff member? So I can get the achievement thingy?

Because I have another 360 and it has RROD and I've voided the warranty way b4 I got the RROD. I've tried fixing it, taking off the X-Clamps and all that jazz. But it still has the RROD. So yeah...

Send a picture of yourself next to your 360 turned on with the 3 red lights to an Admin or Super Mod. That will verify the red rings. It needs to have a date stamp on it...

Nope, I think people can figure it out. Maybe slap a key down at the bottom of the main page saying green for online, gray for offline maybe. But thats the extent I'd take it, if even that.

I like the idea, it tells you whos online and off right at the moment you look at there name. So everytime you want to know if someone is online you dont have to go to the mainpage and scroll down to the bottom.
