Dude....Probably more than $5000 dollars. $1000 is an average HDTV price ATM.

The aspect ratio is too skewed in my opinion, what's wrong with 16:10?

Edit: Thinking about it, I wouldn't mind a ratio a bit broader than 16:10, but this is too much, I bet if you're sitting in front of this you won't even be able to notice movement on the edges in your peripheral vision.

Oh, and what's the deal with the curve? It looks cool, but does it serve a purpose?

I'm not too sure about playing FPS games on it, but i'd sure love to play some Forza 2 on that puppy.

ummm... your eyeballs are curved...

ummm... wouldn't it reaching to the edge of your peripheral vision be a good thing (oh yeah, you've got glasses :lol_crash:)

And I'm pretty sure that the aspect ratio is skewed because the games aren't properly adjusted for it yet... games would need to be properly created with this screen in mind, and you would have to sit at the proper distance for it to work right...

But I think that this screen is a step in the right direction... I can't wait till things like this start getting implemented specifically for gaming with games supporting their aspect ratios...

It's a nice trick, but it's probably three monitors together. I wouldn't mind having one on my desk.

I like mine personally.

I'd be too afraid of dead pixels in that huge thing.

wow, pardon my french but that tv looks shit hot. Looks like what the visual perception is for humans, i like it, would most probably make it feel more realistic.

i really like it, a step up from having 3 normal screens like code, but the thing i didnt really like was the fact that you could see 3 lines going down the screen where there was some bit of seperation. im happy with my 22" widescreen for now

Like I said, it's probably three monitors glued together with a few modifications and an alienware logo.

I like the seperation. It allows me to manage my workload easier. I can maximize three seperate things on three seperate monitors. With one big one it's a bit harder to do that. What I'm saying is for pure gaming...that's a great setup. Otherwise, not so efficient.

I couldn't image ever working on just one monitor again. I've been multi-monitor for many many years. In fact..just one screen on my laptop pisses me off.

My brother refuses to travel with his laptop if he doesn't have his monitor. That stuff can get scary.
