I hadn't enjoyed a Bond film as much as I did Casino Royale in a long time. It's a new direction for the series, but I like it.

I enjoy all of the bond films..even the old ones. I remember watching the one with Jaws in it (The guy with the golden teeth). I enjoyed Casino Royale..Though it got a little awkward when that guy started beating his balls with a big led ball..and he started laughing..

I'm sorry but there's nothing better than a Sean Connery Bond film...he was Bond at it's highest peak. Brosnan was good, but this guy doesn't seem to fit the part. He has a natural evil look to him that doesn't sit well with me...

Over Christmas or New Year's at some point there was a Bond marathon on Spike and I watched a bunch of them and I have to agree with Turbo that Connery was the best Bond.

Casino Royal was good but it just wasnt Bond and I dont think Daniel Craig is right for the part hes to thugish and rough were as bond is proffesional and smooth

The film casino Royale is about Bond when he first became a double 0 agent and was a little bit of a rouge.. I'm sure Daniel Craig will earn his place if he plays a smoother, slick character. And if he a half decent actor who know's his art he will do that.

We'll just wait and see, but everybody criticised the film maker's choice of casting Craig and then had to suck up to him when he proved them wrong and gave a stellar performance!

lol well said Dan. It was a good performance. Hopefully he doesn't turn out to be another Timothy Dalton. He was good, but only 1 movie worth of good haha. Roger Moore was also good but like I said, Connery was the epitome of Bond. A ladies man and a class act.

Casino Royale was based off of a tv-pilot called Casino Royale in 1954. It was on a mystery-theatre thingy and the character was named "card name Jimmy Bond". Hopefully the next Bond movie will be stellar with this new guy...
