This is a song from my favorite bands latest album, played in a studio and put on youtube for all the general public to view.

Radiohead - In Rainbows - "Jigsaw Falling into Place"
The guitar playing in the beginning of the song is just magnificent.

If you'd like to view the entire performance of the full album (52+ mins long) here it is as well:

I'm pretty sure all music is real.

IMO - Radiohead needs to calm down, it seems like they try too hard to be rebellious, indie, and different.

They're still good musicians, and I'm not trying to be rude to you, you know I love you st1nky, eventhough I can pwn you in UMK3 ANYDAY!

That's just how I feel about Radiohead.

Does anybody have this version of 'Jigsaw falling into place'? The version on the album is just not as good as this one. :(

I gotta say I've never really been too bothered about Radiohead either way, but after listening to that I went on to check 'Reckoner' which is an amazing song. I love the drumming besides other things, check it out it's beautiful...

Balls, how do u embed? It worked when I previewed the post?! Ok until I figure out how to embed (and yes I'm wrapping it with you tube tags) I'll drop a link, like I say, beautiful...

I have a very varied taste in music mr.volume, my mood dictates the music I listen to. Tell me, what is it you'd recommend I listen to from your personal faves? :p

I don't know, I listen to honest to god just about everything under the sun, from Beethoven to Johnny Cash to ICP to 2 Pac to Avenged Sevenfold, it really doesn't matter I like all types of music ... but for some reason I just can't listen to this... and I'm in a mellow mood today. Maybe it's because he sings so high pitched... too much like a girl or something... Iunno :(

@ Longjon & Azeron - 15 step and the Reckoner are both some of my favorite songs from the album. I have basically had the whole cd on repeat for the past month. My girlfriend is even getting sick of it :) But for me, Radiohead gets better every time i listen to them. Its like each song they produce can be heard in a number of different ways, and thats whats always attracted me to them. Aside from this album, "Amnesiac", "Hali to the Theif", and "The Bends" are some of my other favorite albums. O and azeron, i put the entire studio performance video onto my ipod so thats how i listen to this version of Jigsaw constantly :)

@ Volum3 - I have never met ANYONE who did not like radiohead, after taking the time to listen to other stuff. I can't even imagine how you could be bored with these songs, but my only guess is you would like stuff a bit more "rocking." Well radiohead has done plenty of that as well. Why dont you do yourself a favor and check out some of these other songs by Radiohead.
"My iron Lung"
"You"
"Myxamatosis"
"The bends"
"Airbag"
"Paranoid Android"

Radiohead have been my favorite band for YEARS. Even in high school i was known to some as "that radiohead kid" But i didnt care, i knew i was listening to something better than they were. Even the quote under my name in my senior yearbook was radiohead.

Rolling Stone magazine has even referred to radiohead as the greatest band in the world today, so they must be doing something right.

I think if you value your musical taste as much as you say you do, you owe it to yourself to check out their complete collection.

Heres the rolling stone bio on them, you could probably go in the right direction starting from here:

Stinky, you only like Radiohead because you get high. :p jk lol
I say this is good music, but not the best....oviously, one must have an appreciation for classical music to even be considered true of refined taste. I mean, music would be nowhere without the greatest composers...
I personally think that in parrelism, Radiohead is like the urbane Pink Floyd, which is my favorite band. Both really tried to express the same themes in their music, and the way the albums are made as albums, not a stream of singles, really makes them great. Pink Floyd is better though. ;)

You're missing the point, I've been listening to Radio Head for years... on the radio, on friend's CD's, etc. I've given them chances to hook me as I'll do with all music... I just don't understand everyone's fascination with them... maybe it's because of my obssession with drumming but their stuff bores the crap out of me... it makes me want to fall asleep, and I don't see how "Paranoid Android" is a step away from that?

It's boring, IMO.

I can respect what they do as musicians and I can respect that their music is widely praised... but it's not for me and never will be.

I have given them a chance as well. Worst song I've downloaded on Rock Band was My Iron Lung. I can honestly say this band is crap...in my opinion.

Radiohead isn't crap.

They have an interesting view on some of their tunes, but I'm with Jessie, it's just not for me, never has been. And I've tried.

I'm really into bands that don't do what everybody else is doing, i.e. Tool, NIN. But RH just doesn't do it for me, but they are wonderful musicians.
