Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles

Tonight is the premiere of Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles on Fox. Having seen an advance copy of the first episode (don't ask how), I must say I went from thinking this series was a bad idea to actually having fun watching it. Fans of 300 will recognize Sarah Conner as the queen from that movie. John Conner is played by Zach from season 1 of Heroes and seems so much better than the whiny version played by Eddie Furlong. A female terminator is involved and those of you who have seen Firefly/Serenity will recognize River Tam (also seen in the gamepics downloadable for free from the marketplace).

I won't post any spoilers but expect to see Terminator vs Terminator action and a lot of fight scenes. The series tries to build on the mythos set up from the second movie but takes place before the 3rd movie. I look forward to see where this series goes. It's also nice to have something to look forward in a time of reruns and reality shows thanks to the writer's strike.

I was looking forward to watching this since I loved the Terminator films. I didn't know what I thought of it or what to expect. But from what you have told us I am really thrilled to watch it now. It sounds really good. I just hope that the series doesn't get "desperate" and starts to get dumb

I also hope it tries to avoid the Freak Of The Week type set up seen in so many shows just starting off. Smallville was like that but eventually grew out of it a bit.

i am completely not going to watch this...personally i think it will suck but ill be sure to check back here and get some opinions once it releases

This show is pure awesomeness. The fight scenes are the coolest. Plus the terminator chick (serenity girl) is really hot:D

I would recommend everyone to watch this.

Sorry to dig this up, but I just saw the final episode's and although I loved the show, I was a little disapointed about the ending!

There's rumours that the show will be commisioned for a second season but nothing is set in stone.

AND, wtf's with young john in the future flashforwards?
