I have pretty restrictive online times during the week... I'm usually only on around 5 to 7 PM if I'm lucky before my internet crashes... The weekends are when I'm hoping to get my team's games in.

Weekdays are about the same for me, usually...weekends are my best time as well. Only day I'm not available is February 3rd, so when the signups are done and I put the brackets up, we can discuss with our opponents when we will play.

Don't worry, if you check the OP you'll see the tournament organizers will do whatever they can to make sure noone that signs up gets left out. I wouldn't sweat it by the way, I have a feeling there might be some changes coming regarding team size.

Well I'm out I think because Microshit won't let me upgrade to an Elite and I have to wait for 2months to get a new XBOX because Microshit is too god damn retarded to understand that I've gone trough 5 XBOX's and 2 of them have gotten the RROD and the other 2 have eaten my game discs so screw microshit.

Also, I will not leave those of you who are teamless out for so long. The 8 of you below need to come up with a team of 6. The other 2 will have to wait on the 4 people to show up OR be replacements on the teams that the respective members didn't sign up. THIS needs to happen by FRIDAY 1-25. I know I said up until 2 days, but I have thought about it, and it's unfair to throw you guys in 2 days before a tournament. So, by 1-25 if you guys haven't formed a team, I will do it for you. Hopefully everything runs smoothly, and the 6 members sign up, and we get 4 more. HOPEFULLY...

Now, for the remaining 3 members - I myself have resigned from the tournament, so there is 1. From my understanding Chilidog Chaos will not be able to play due to lack of a 360 at the moment, so there is 2. So this leaves 1 person not on a team. Today was the only day that teams who did not play their game during the alloted time will get away with it. The next time the deadline passes, the teams that do not play or do not show up to play will be disqualified. It is absolutely ridiculous that in a period of 7 days 2 teams cannot make it a point to play 1 set of games. Completely bullshit.

Well, I've successfully set up two weeks in a row with the other captains to play. Even though the entire team cannot be there, we still play 4 on 4 etc. I do not forfeit and I'm not a lazy piece of bullshit either.

Thats exactly right; I understand how things can come up, but we're talking about 30 - 45 minutes worth of time to play 3 games if that. I find it disrespectful not only to the team but to the entire site when someone doesn't show up for their match, especially when they know when the match is to take place.

Right now we're riding this out, but will definitely be monitoring the situations of who, why, and when. It makes me wonder what if at a later date we start offering prizes or a bigger incentive than a site award for these tournaments and people screw over their teams by not showing up to a match time they know about. What then?

But what should happen is like what other people said, even if it ends up being 3v3 or 2v2 then still play the game when you know you have to before the deadline. Its not hard to take half an hour or so to play a simple game, If you have such tight schedules and you can't have 30 mins to play a game, then you should not compete in tourneys, Simple as that.

Hey man, welcome to the site. I'm sorry to say the CoD 4 tourney is already going on so you missed the deadline to get on a team; at least in this one. Like Brighton said above you might be able to be a sub if someone on a team doesn't show up, its always possible. We have one retail tourney a month, sometimes its a free-for-all other times its team based like this one.

Um, what? I and four of my people were online and spamming you with invites at 6 PM, then waited for 45 minutes before giving up, you were away the whole time, I wouldn't call that nothing happening.
