Rush

Does anyone like Rush? Me and my friend were arguing about the quality of their music; he was defending them saying they were one of the greatest classic/progressive rock bands of all time. What is your opinion? For those who don't know who Rush is, they play YYZ, which is on Guitar Hero 2, and Tom Sawyer, which is on Rock Band.

Tom Sawyer = teh Hotnezz! But other than that I'm not wildly appreciative... I mean I have respect for what they did musically, but the singer's voice just annoys me at times :(

Geddy Lee? Yes...his voice can get to me after a while but I love a lot of their songs.

Rush is the Greatest progressive Rock band of All-Time. Also the greatest 3 piece band.

Not to mention that Neil Peart is consitered to be the greatest drummer and Geddy Lee likewise on bass.

I think 2112 and Exit Stage left are two of the best albums of their generation. The Spirit of Radio needs to be on Rock Band NOW!

That would be cool, but I would like cover bands to do them. No offense to Rush, but I think other vocalists could do better. :p

I have always like some Rush songs and knew Peart was a god but only in the last few months have I really started to like them. I will be going to see them May 1st. I want to see Peart's drum solo bad.
